Long ago, when the earth, from the Ice Age, there were three brothers. After a bear takes the life of the eldest brother, impulsive youngest brother Kenai kills the bear in revenge, but only converted into a self-sustaining. Denahi, the middle brother, comes to this, and thought they killed Kenai, vows revenge. Now hunts brother and brother Kenai only hope for survival is to befriend his own worst enemy, a grizzly cub named Koda. Koda main goal is to show Kenai the true meaning of brotherhood.
Vistas With flat-rate, beautifully designed and painted panoramas, and a few good songs thrown Phil Collins in for good measure (more in the songs later), Walt Disney Pictures Brother Bear, Opening Saturday takes you on a pleasant journey from the first drum beat to the last.
Brother Bear begins, as the youngest of three brothers Intuit (Kenai) is preparing for its eagerly awaited right of passage ceremony. The story runs a little, but it leads the premise that he (Kenai) is selfish and immature, and to his transition to manhood, he must learn to live his life with love and everything love.
The story takes up and runs to the selfish Kenai is transformed into a bear by the spirits who live in the Aurora Borealis, so he can learn what life is like on the "other side" . To a man again, he must travel to the place where the lights touch the earth "to catch up with the spirit of his brother, Sitka, the only one that can change it back.
On this trip, he meets the comic relief in the show signs Rutt and Tuke, two Wayward moose, a brilliant Canadian exaggerated twang, with a zip-liner that as soon as the " ; eh's ". The secret of this film is its beauty, ironically released as the Disney Studios announced that it is forsaking hand drawn animation in favor of the entire CG films. While the success of "Nemo" and "Toy Story" can not be questioned here, what have you there is a disgrace and I think that shows an amazingly short-sightedness.
bear is long on beauty, fun and great music Phil Collins is sure that the studios to another Oscar. "I'm on my way" is the only (though I thought Collins' second song melody the money) and it is good. The only thing I could not figure out why is Tina Turner sings a song at the beginning. Turner's appeal comes from their stage presence and her singing this song seems a waste of resources (just like Wynona Elvis sing a song about the loans to Lilo and Stitch) and seems really an intrusion into the pristine beauty at the very beginning. Turner is not a ballad singer.
Brother Bear (produced by the Orlando Disney animation studio, as Mulan and Lilo) is also used for the history, beauty, music and timing of the release. At my screening, the auditorium was filled with the Disney audience, but the laughter, the `Oohs and ahhs" and the tears of happiness at the end of children and parents alike are sure that the joy of the manufacturer. Last year the November release, Treasure Planet (although balance of many) would have done well, if not for the "not-so-random" release of the second tranche Potter.
Brother Bear gets an A-.
