In 2046, in a research facility on Mars, some subjects will be released and the place is held in quarantine. A team of Marines, led by Sarge (The Rock), is assigned to rescue the personnel and retrieve data from the research, with the support of Dr. Samantha Grimm (Rosamund Pike), the twin sister of the Navy John "Reaper" Grimm (Karl Urban). While in the mission, Samantha finds a dark secret hidden on the Monster and the researches.

Contrary to what many others may say, this film is very good for what it is: a mindless action film.
I enjoyed the game itself very much and it really scared the **** out of me. I had expected a horror film, but I soon realized that this is an action film. Well, what can we expect an action film other than a lot of shooting and tension SOME? If you think that the film is flat, it is, but his alleged. Anyone who complains about the film to A Mindless shooting film should recognize that this is not the film for them so they should go watch one of their "emotional" movies, if they wish. However, if you take a break and just want your testosterone pumping, you can use a break from life and a man only male. If you do not like The Rock, then watch a comedy or romance, this film is not for you. But if you like the video game and how senseless action, this is the movie for you.
